Putting in an offer

The housing market has contracted in the recent years, which has led to a shortage of buyers in some areas, and a shortage of sellers in others.
This means that it’s difficult to know whether the sellers will except an offer below the asking price. But its alway worth asking.

Remmember that the estate agent always works for the seller, and their duty is to get the highest price possible for the property, so don’t be affraid if they discourage you from bidding too low, you can always increase your offer later.
